My host family planned a trip to the beach for one of my friends. They packed a picnic and some games for us to play. Going to the beach is one of my favorite things to do. 

On my last day of student teaching, I spent the majority of the day with the all girls class. I taught them a music lesson filled with music games and some traditional bluegrass music that represents my hometown. They were so sweet and to say goodbye they wrote me a song, made me goodbye cards, and decorated a pencil case for me with all of their names on it.  It was very sad to say goodbye to these students and I will miss them very much!

I was in Spain for the celebration of St. George's Day! My host father got me a rose and we went on a walk to the city center to see the books and roses

One of my host sisters graduated from med school and I attended her graduation! 

My host family took me to this beautiful cathedral that is not yet finished by Gaudi, a famous architect in Spain. 

After school, my host family and I went on a walk and saw the beautiful views of Barcelona from the top of the hill!
