Hi! My name is Ms. Emily Chambers and I am originally from Leitchfield, KY. During my student teaching semester in Spring of 2023, I studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain! I am a K-12 Music Education Major so I completed my initial student teaching experience in a string orchestra class and then an elementary music class in Bowling Green, KY. 

The first two weeks I was abroad were set aside for independent travel since the students at my host school have two weeks off for Spring break and Easter. During this time, I traveled with a few friends through Italy, France, and the Netherlands before heading back to Barcelona to begin student teaching. 

During student teaching, I lived with a sweet host family. They have 7 children and it is very close to the school, Colegio Real Monasterio de Santa Isabel.
