Day 4: Saturday

Today, I woke up at 5am with massive shoulder pain. Oh, alas, the woes of health problems occurring during a crunch (another reason I don't like crunches). A lot was accomplished on this day, though, if I'm being honest, it was a complete blur as I dealt with the pain and a lack of sleep.

So my advice to you in future projects, take lessons learned during game jams, only do crunch for fun, never do it for work or if you feel pressured. Slow and steady wins the race and you feel great coming out of it.

I'm missing a lot of things that I did with the project.

Finished off the floor plan of level:

  • Ghosts are coded and in place (waiting on animations)

  • Collectible items in place (waiting to connect with the journal via coding).

  • Notes have been placed around the floor and the UI panel created. No coding or final writing added yet.

  • Colliders have been placed around the floor to stop the player from moving through walls.
