When the team was originally created it consisted of myself, Katie, and Janine. Then along the way, we collected Jesse and Dylan to join our team. With the GGJ theme officially being released on the Tuesday arvo, and the local jam site not starting until the Friday evening, and it was decided by the team that we would spend the extra few days planning out our game, and me practicing my Unity 2D skills.
Originally I was planning to do all of the Unity dev work, including programming, though once Dylan joined the team, the workload was reassessed. Ultimately, I feel our project is much stronger with Dylan being attached.
For the duration of the Jam, I wanted to write up a Devlog to record my journey. My writings and capturing documentation along the way started strong, but as it came to crunch time (I'm no an advocate of crunch btw) I began to forget to take notes and screenshots. And when I did, I forgot where and when certain applications were implemented. In essence, it's never easy to go back and remember what occurred and when without those notes. And worse yet, some of the things I've troubleshot or learned were not captured which future me will be angry with past me. All and all, I tried to present as much as I could, but please keep in mind, there will be some details missing over Fri-Sat-Sun.
