Year 2 Teaching Competencies

For my second year practicum I was able to teach History at the Secondary 2 cycle. I was teaching one group of history at the Secondary 4 level and 2 groups at the Secondary 3 level. This gave me a wide array of Historical topics to teach, however my lessons mainly focused on these subject areas:

• The Great Depression Causes and the Politics Behind the Great Depression 

• The British Conquest (taught twice)

• Special Topic: The Deportation of Acadians
