This artifact is a certificate that shows I completed the mandated reporter training, which connects to standard 9B. The standard states that the teacher should know the laws and rules of mandatory reporting, so completing the mandatory reporting training and course proves I know these laws. 

I learned how to recognize the signs of abuse, how to call the abuse hotline, and the importance of calling to be safe instead of letting a child suffer.

This artifact is a comment made by my supervising teacher on my overall strengths as a teacher.

The comments connect to standard 9K that an effective teacher should reflect on their personal practice and work to improve based on those reflections. The comments say that both my cooperating teacher and my supervisor noticed that I was good a reflecting on how my lessons went and strived to improve my practice.

Through conversations with my cooperating teacher and supervisor, I learned to be aware of how my lesson went, how my students were learning, and what I could do to teach a better lesson next time.
