This is a reflection on how effective a grammar lesson I taught was based on the formative assessment data I collected.
The reflection connects to standard 7J because I used the results of my formative assessment in the reflection to determine the student's mastery of the skill and whether they met the learning targets for that lesson. I also reflected on how the lesson went and how to move forward to enhance learning outcomes.

The textbook connects to standard 7E because the chapter taught me how to create my own assessments using a variety of strategies to evaluate student learning and my own teaching.
I learned how to create fair assessments that test students on what they were learning. It also gave me a variety of formal and summative assessment strategies and a way to evaluate my assessments.
