TO HUMAN RESILIENCE
1RRAD1AT3D:
In this hypothetical post-nuclear winter landscape, this winter collection explores the aftermath of human conflict.
Through the lens of fashion as storytelling, this body of work examines the consequences of radiation on human, animal, and botanical life forms. Each couture piece becomes a form of performance art, embodying the physical and psychological scars left behind by warfare.
I hope that through this body of work, the hours of effort and work that went into it will be moving and apparent. This was truly a labour of love, created with the help of the most committed creatives I have the pleasure of knowing.

With exaggerated silhouettes, distressed textures, and transformative materials, the collection stands as a warning, a cautionary tale against the nuclear arms race and chemical warfare. Patterned with a mix of traditional and digital techniques using CLO3D, as well as utilising unique embellishment techniques and many hand-sewn couture techniques, it is an ode to human resiliance, and a harsh reminder of what is lost when humanity recklessly self-destructs.
Techniques utilised: Traditional Pattern drafting, Digital Pattern Drafting (CLO-3D), Garment Construction, Accessories making, Fabric sourcing, 3d Print processing, Weathering and distressing, Airbrushing
