The world is interconnected and mathematics shows these connections and possibilities. By exploring the history and discoveries of mathematicians throughout the ages we want to inspire our young learners to learn new digital skills and competences.

Exploring the humanity behind the brilliant minds of these individuals and their greatest contributions to mathematics we will introduce our pupils to a variety of digital tools.

At the same time we will be connecting the project to our school curriculum and thus applying our knowledge throughout the school year.

THE AIMS OF THE PROJECT ARE: 

• developing digital skills.

• learning about our own and other cultures.

• developing the learners' literacy & multilingual competencies.

• developing various soft skills such as collaboration, communication and teamwork.

• empowering students' creativity in different subjects.

• developing critical and logical thinking, combined with teamwork and collaboration.

El mundo está interconectado y las matemáticas son una excelente manera para explorar esas conexiones que nos ofrecen nuevas oportunidades.

En en este proyecto investigaremos sobre algunos de los descubrimientos  y aportaciones de los matemáticos a lo largo de la historia. Se pretende inspirar a  nuestros jóvenes estudiantes a la vez que desarrollan nuevas habilidades y  mejoran su competencia digital.

Para ello , intentaremos captar la humanidad  que hay detrás de algunas de las mentes más  brillantes de las matemáticas , conociendo sus contribuciones mas relevantes  usando  variadas herramientas digitales y conectando con los planes de estudio  y la cultura de las diferentes paises partipantes.

OBJETIVOS DEL PROYECTO:

•  Desarrollar habilidades digitales.

•  Aprender sobre nuestra propia cultura y la de los demás.

• Desarrollar las competencias multilingües de los alumnos.

• Desarrollar diversas habilidades sociales como la colaboración, la comunicación y el trabajo en equipo.

• Potenciar la creatividad de los alumnos en diferentes materias.

• Desarrollar el pensamiento crítico y lógico, combinado con el trabajo en equipo y la colaboración.
