The method was initiated by John Brady Kiesling in his work Charting Electoral Fraud and later developed and popularised by Sergey Shpilkin.
Over the years, electoral data in the Republic of Turkey hasn't shown large-scale signs of degradation. Some regions, like Şanlıurfa should still draw the attention of observers.
