The NYSBC, founded by nine eminent research institutions in 1999, is a global leader in structural biology with unsurpassed expertise and instrumentation, providing biomedical research services to commercial and academic clients, including high throughput gene-to-structure determination, structure-based drug design, crystallography, NMR spectroscopy, cryo-electron microscopy and protein production (public website: http://www.nysbc.org).
The NYSBC NMR department has the unique ability to probe atomic level details of molecules using both Solution and Solid State NMR techniques at a range of field strengths (500-900 MHz). The ultra high field magnets facilitate the study of complex structures and dynamics of some of the largest macromolecules at highest sensitivity and atomic resolution afforded by current technology.
If you are not an NYSBC user yet but wish to have access to the NMR instruments there, please let us know and we will start the process of getting you an NYSBC account: NYSBC Info, News and Notices
Grant Proposal Support - please contact us if you need a letter from NYSBC to support your grant proposal
NOTE: Please remember to cite the NYSBC and its support in any publications using the instrumentation at the NYSBC. See the following page for details:
