For fourth year medical students, you will be using the blue evaluation cards. (Jefferson 3rd year students, please send out your evaluations per Jefferson requirements.)
These are the MOST important part of your evaluation as your clerkship grade will primarily be derived by the clinical evaluations you receive while working in the department.
You will need to give BOTH your attendings and senior residents you work with a blue shift evaluation card . Hand out as many as possible! You are expected to have at least 13 blue cards returned by the end of the rotation in order to get a grade for your clerkship.
*** TIPS:
Hand out multiple evaluation cards per shift to make sure you have enough evaluations to receive a grade. Give your team your evaluation card and ask for feedback 1 hour before the end of your shift. This will facilitate discussion with your attending and senior resident feedback and will increase the odds they will fill out and turn in your evaluation card.
Blank evaluation cards can be found in both A Pod and C Pod, as well as in your Clerkship Director's office (B8) in the basement of the Korman building. Please fill out the top portion of each card before giving it to a staff member for completion.
