Medical student only didactics/SIM Day:
One Tuesday a month (typically week 1) will be medical student only didactics that run from 10AM-2PM. We will typically meet in the Korman basement (B18-20), unless otherwise specified by the clerkship directors. We will then go up to the simulation center on the 2nd floor of the Korman building. Your participation and performance is a component of your clerkship grade. This session is mandatory.
Please review ACLS protocols in preparation for simulation. (Link to ACLS algorithms)
Resident didactics currently take place between 7AM-12PM on Wednesdays (mandatory sessions).
Didactics with the residents are in person located in the Korman Basement Conference Room B-18, 20.
One didactic session per month for the residents is entirely via Zoom. You should receive an email a day or two before. Please double check with the residents but If you do not get an email, please assume the conference is in person. Via Zoom please log in with your first and last name as this is how we check attendance. We expect cameras to be on at all times to ensure participation.
If these mandatory sessions need to be missed for interviews, illness, boards, etc. you need to email the clerkship directors for approval well in advance. If your absence is approved, make-up work opportunities are on the website and are due at the end of your rotation.
