Investigative Research

Excelling will look like: STEM students conduct investigative research to make claims, collect evidence, analyze data, and argue from evidence that connects to grade-level appropriate Georgia Standards of Excellence. Student research is communicated to a public audience that includes business and community partners. 

Gateway Shark Tank Projects

Fourth and Fifth grade students participated in a Gateway Shark Tank. Students had to research and design an idea and present their idea to the Shark Tank panel and their classmates. Students worked to develop ideas and present them in a convincing way in the hopes of gaining the support of the Shark Tank.
