Emerson Elementary School has been an integral part of the Emerson, GA community for over 100 years. Families often have generations of students that have attended Emerson Elementary. According to the 2020 census, there are approximately 1,415 people residing in Emerson's mix of rural and suburban areas. Part of Bartow County School System, Emerson is one of twelve elementary schools within the system. In 2014, Emerson Elementary School was moved to a new building next door to Red Top Middle School. In 2023, the school media center was transformed into a learning hub for student learning and activities.
