The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, IEM, Kolkata, has organised an online Coding Hackathon on 17th September, 2025, as part of the Placement Refresher Course.

This gave the participants a great opportunity to sharpen their problem-solving skills, practice coding under time limits, and prepare for upcoming placement challenges to get placement-ready.

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, IEM, Kolkata, in association with the MSME TOOLROOM Kolkata, has organised a 3-day workshop on Robotics between 28th and 30th July, 2025. Students got hands-on training on the following topics -

DAY-1

• Introduction to Robotics.

• Introduction to Arduino & it’s Programming Basics.

• Interfacing program of LED & Practice on different LED Patterns.

DAY-2

• Interfacing program of Sensors & Practice.

• Interfacing program of Actuators & Practice.

DAY-3

• Program downloading on Robotics Model.

• Controlling of Robotics model using Bluetooth.
