Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signed with MSME Tool Room, Kolkata

The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM), Kolkata has signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MSME Tool Room, Kolkata (Central Tool Room & Training Centre), operating under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India.
This collaboration aims to strengthen the bond between industry and academia by enhancing technical skills, promoting research, and developing industry-oriented knowledge among our students and faculty.
Under this MoU, MSME Tool Room Kolkata will actively participate in curriculum advisory, guest lectures, workshops, joint research projects, industrial internships, and entrepreneurship development activities. It will also provide practical exposure to the latest industrial technologies and offer concessions on training fees for IEM students.
The partnership is a step forward in building industry-ready professionals and promoting innovation, research, and skill development aligned with socio-economic demands.

The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre of Excellence – AI & Digital Transformation (Implementation Agency: Indian Institute of Internship), West Bengal's first CoE in AI and Digital Transformation.
This collaboration aims to enhance academic-industry interaction through skill-based training, industrial visits, guest lectures, research programs, and improved placement opportunities for our students.
The partnership will promote innovative education and practical exposure in cutting-edge technologies like Web 3.0, Industry 5.0, and AI applications, supporting the holistic development of our engineering students.
