The weather changed on our way to 天狗の頭. That was another 3 hours of climb, time passed so quickly.

Approaching Gendarme and around in heavy mist, we are moving very slowly and cautiously.

The mist cleared a bit and we can see Okuhotaka from afar! And it's 5pm, almost 12 hours have passed.

Looking back at the gorgeous Gendarme peak, and Okuhotaka dake ahead. My 2nd time on the highest peak in the Hotaka mountains at 3190m. Also the 3rd highest mountain in Japan. Thereafter, the route from Okuhotaka to Hotaka-Sanso is a familiar route for both of us.

Viewing the magnificent Yarigatake from afar at 6pm. A final descent to Hotakadake-Sanso and we ended the day's climb at 6:20pm. And that's 13 hours for about 5km!
