This is a rubric for a project we have our PROUD class do. PROUD stands for People Respecting Others Unique Differences. In this class, we have our general education students partner up with our Destiny students, during their physical education hour. This gets the destiny students learning new sports and activities, feeling included with students their age, and allowing our class to learn more about student differences.

This is one of the first projects we have our students in the PROUD class do, before they get to meet the students. This is just one example of a disability that the students picked. This gets the students familiar with different disabilities that they may come across. This project gives students a chance to learn about unique characteristics, differences, and how these disabilities can affect one's body.
Leadership
This was our school assembly for St. Baldrick's Day, we did a staff vs. students basketball game to raise money!
Junior Leadership
Creating and sustaining a community around you, is important to your mental health. Our junior leadership class made cards for a well deserving war veteran who just turned 100! We talked about the importance of connecting PE with things that can make a difference. Connecting with the community can give students a sense of purpose and self confidence.
