It also offers advice to educators on how to encourage students' responsible and healthy use of technology in and out of the classroom. In addition to offering practical advice, the infographic gives educators access to a range of tools that can help them advance digital best practices in the classroom.
Information Literacy Research Skills
4.7.c: Support educators and students to critically examine the sources of online media and identify underlying assumptions.
Students at different levels (K–3, 4–8) can benefit from the methods and exercises shared in the video presentation. This will help them develop information literacy as they navigate the internet environment. Suggestions are provided for each grade level to help pupils develop their ability to distinguish between trustworthy and untrustworthy sources. Additionally, the presentation provides teachers with supplementary materials to utilize in the classroom as needed.
