"Coaches inspire educators and leaders to use technology to create equitable and ongoing access to high-quality learning." (ISTE, 2024)
Technology integration in the classroom is vital for the success of students in the 21st century. My goal as a coach would be to provide coaching and expertise to teachers to enhance their skills in integrating technology in their teaching practices. This requires me to be up-to-date with emerging technologies, practices, and innovations to provide the best services to the teachers I support. All children need to have an equal opportunity to thrive and develop academically. As a technology coach, it is my mission to help teachers increase student learning and engagement in the classroom by giving them a variety of opportunities and experiences to use technology. Technology should never take the role of instruction, but rather be used to improve instruction and student learning in ways that still allow students to work hands-on, solve problems, and interact with fellow learners. Teachers and students deserve the chance to express their knowledge and creativity in ways that will help them flourish in their experiences. With the abilities we teach our children in the classroom, they will be able to use this information to thrive in the future and evolve as technology does. Technology provides so many individuals with opportunity, and it may really inspire pupils to do and be remarkable. It is my responsibility to stay informed and to keep offering educators and students resources and information so they can take advantage of fantastic opportunities as they arise as technology evolves. This can be achieved through the creation and participation In professional learning networks (PLNs).
