Reminiscences of a South African Pioneer by W. C. Scully published 1913

William Charles Scully writes of emigrating from Ireland to South Africa. William was 12 years old. at the time. He emigrated with his parents and eldest sister in 1867. They also brought with them a young man named Larry O'Toole.

William also writes that he met Edmund O'Toole who was working as a cab driver (horse drawn taxi), in Cape Town.

William suggests that Edmund died some years before the publication of his book in 1913.
