Annie’s Grants for Gardens Gardens are places for kids to connect to real food, explore new flavors and talk about where our food comes from. For many years, we’ve offered Grants for Gardens donations to schools and other educational programs that help put children in direct contact with growing real food. Since 2008, we've offered funding to more than 200 gardens.
The Bullitt Foundation The mission of the Bullitt Foundation is to protect, restore, and maintain the natural physical environment of the Pacific Northwest. As part of its focus on Education and Public Outreach, the Foundation works to assure that the environmental education of youth in the region is of high quality. The Ford Family Foundation The Ford Family Foundation makes grants to public charities that predominantly benefit small communities in rural Oregon and Siskiyou County, Calif. National Tree Trust The National Tree Trust promotes healthy communities by providing resources that educate and empower people to grow and care for urban and community forests. The programs of the NTT are Seeds, Roots, and Branches.
Schoolyard Habitats Program Grant from National Wildlife Federation Development of an environmental study site. Includes projects such as bird watching, native planting, pond life studies, and wildlife observations. Must be interdisciplinary, standards-based, hands-on, and inexpensive.
Seeds for Education Grant Native plant education: enhancement and development of an outdoor learning site. Must include use of and teaching about native plants or seeds. Children need to be involved in the project.

The Lawrence Foundation The foundation is focused on making grants to support environmental, human services and other causes although our interests are fairly diverse and may lead us into other areas on an occasional basis. We make both program and operating grants and do not have any geographic restrictions on our grants. Nonprofit organizations that qualify for public charity status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or public schools and libraries are eligible for contributions or grants.
Nature in Neighborhoods capital grants (METRO) Metro is seeking applications for projects that re-green and re-nature neighborhoods. Successful projects get the community involved, foster diverse partnerships and innovate. They lead to bigger social and economic benefits, from jobs and economic development to livable neighborhoods and clean air.
Oregon Community Foundation (Oregon Parks Foundation Grant) Grants range from $1,500 to $5,000 and support acquisition, preservation, and improvement of land for public parks and other recreation.

Fiskars®- Project Orange Thumb Fiskars® Garden and Outdoor Living Division offers an annual grant program, Project Orange Thumb. Community garden groups can apply to receive up to $1,500 in Fiskars® garden tools and $800.00 in supplies, such as seeds and mulch. Grant recipients also receive t-shirts for garden volunteers/members. Deadline: ongoing

SeaWorld/Busch Gardents/Fujifilm Environmental Excellence Awards Schools and community groups are eligible for these grants. Previous award-winning projects have tackled a wide variety of environmental problems, including but not limited to: habitat restoration, school yard beautification, energy and waste reduction, environmental education and community outreach, wildlife protection, and natural resource conservation.
