Anugraha Kalikote, Anindita Namhata and Sudipta Paul (PG 2019-2021 batch) had submitted a version of their post graduate project to Studies in Microeconomics, published by Sage. Their submission "Online network formation among students during COVID-19: analyzing path dependency in a natural experimental setting" has been accepted for publication on 5 June 2022.
After graduating from Presidency College with Honours in Economics she completed her
Masters degree in Public Policy (Macroeconomics & Public Finance) from Georgetown University, Washington, DC in 2019.
She has joined as Research Analyst, Asia and Pacific Department, in International Monetary Fund (IMF) with a posting at their head quarters in Washington, DC.
We congratulate Sourav Sarkar for receiving Ph.D. degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology for his thesis entitled "Essays in Political Economy and Development". His supervisors were Prof. Abhijit Banerjee and Prof. Frank Schilbach.
