Respectful Relationships

What is the Respectful Relationships program?

The Respectful Relationships framework supports schools and early childhood settings to promote and model respect, positive attitudes and behaviours. It teaches our children how to build healthy relationships, resilience and confidence.

In 2021, the Respectful Relationships program will be incorporated into our weekly Wellbeing lessons following the F-6 Wellbeing scope and sequence planner. It will focus on topics such as: making friends, building resilience, gender equality, showing respect, inclusion, understanding emotions, building emotional and psychological wellbeing, positive peer support, building personal strengths, building positive coping skills, developing cooperative and problem solving skills.
