Partners in Wellbeing

If you are not coping or have been feeling distressed, anxious or down over several weeks, help is available through Partners in Wellbeing service. The free service offers one-on-one support to help you improve your wellbeing, develop strategies to cope and provide emotional support when and as you need it.

ParentWorks is a free online program 

What is involved?

ParentWorks involves 5 to 8 ‘modules’ to watch – one per week. Each module only takes about 20 to 30 minutes of your time, and involves videos with practical information and activities.

You can work through the program in your own time and at your own pace. The program takes time and effort, but the rewards will be worth it.

The program is currently available as part of a research study.

The Orange Door

The Orange Door is a free service for adults, children and young people who are experiencing or have experienced family violence and families who need extra support with the care of children.

Hope City Mission

DRIVE-THRU FOODBANK Hope City Mission can assist with food and hygiene products for those in financial hardship through its drive-thru Foodbank. Open Thursday by appointment.

DRIVE-THRU FOODBANK

Thursday 9:00am – 4:00pm 


This program provides emergency food relief to those in financial hardship in a contactless environment. Home delivery can also be arranged.

Our Drive Thru Foodbank allows clients to remain in their vehicle whilst our team place pre-packed hampers in their cars, which can consist of pantry items, fruit and vegetables, perishables and hygiene products. Some dietary requirements can be accommodated (please advise our intake team when completing your intake).

To access our services, an intake will need to be completed either over the phone or you can do this online using the link below.

Each intake is assessed to identify what additional services may be needed to assist the client to get them back on their feet.  Financial Literacy support is also available.

Safeminds

Parents and carers also have a duty of care to inform the school if they have concerns for their child or if circumstances at school are affecting their child’s mental health. To assist with this, SAFEMinds: At Home was developed for parents and carers to provide them with a variety of information and resources that will assist them to identify, inquire and take appropriate action to reach out for support if they are concerned about their child.
