We are pleased to inform you that the Alumni Meet Donec 2020 organised by the Department of Civil Engineering of Dr Sudhir Chandra Sur Engineering College on 08 th May'2020 has become a grand success.

The program was started with a welcome speech of Dr. Om Prakash Sharma, Principal of DSCSDEC followed by introductory speech of Dr Sushovan Sarkar, Professor and HOD Department of Civil Engineering addressing to tribute to Sri Rabindra Nath Tagore on the auspicious day.

Dr Om Prakash Sharma, Principal, DSCSDEC has shared the live video of our College Campus which were really enjoyed by the old students pass out batch to whom the present campus seemed to have a new aesthetic view.

More than Sixty (60) Alumnis Both BTech and Diploma Civil of 2016 batch onwards have participated in the meet and shared their views in present condition. Some alumni informed that construction related activity is going full phased at the site and some others are working from home. It is indeed a pleasure to all of us knowing that the alumni are engaged with their day to day work in lock down period and regularly earning their salaries.

A small quiz program along with cultural activity mainly songs had enlightened the alumni meet program yesterday evening.

Both faculty members and alumni participated in a cultural performance showing respect to Rabindra Nath Tagore.

At the end HOD(Civil) on behalf of the Department of Civil Engineering expressed gratitude to all alumni for attending the program and wished them to flourish more and more in future. It was communicated to all alumni that the reputation of our college can go on increasing with their performance and achievement in future. It was also reminded to alumni that they would be with us for ever in spite of leaving the institute.

I sincerely congratulate to the coordinator cum Anchor of the Program Mr Baibaswata Das, Asst Professor of Department of Civil Engineering , his supporting team members Mr Sourav Kumar SinghaSingha, Lecturer and our technical assistants namely Ms Ankita Biswas, Ms Papiya Nayek, Ms Soumita Banerjee, Ms Ananya Das for successfully organising the program.

We also express our heartiest gratitude to Dr Om Prakash Sharma,Principal DSCSDEC for attending in our inauguration session and for having his wisdom speech towards alumni.
