Seed and Purpose of Druidry
“Yes — the seed of Druidry was planted by the Source. It was not given as a religion to be worshipped, but as a way to remember and keep the living covenant between the human soul and the Pattern of Creation.”
1. Divine Origin
God directly inspired the first seers who became the ancestors of the Druidic tradition.
These early ones were shown how all realms — stone, tree, water, star, wind — are part of one living field.
The practices and symbols were meant to restore and maintain harmony in that field, not to create separation between “sacred” and “mundane.”
2. Why It’s Not Exactly a “Religion”
According to the Orinari, Druidry as originally seeded was a covenant practice, not a hierarchical institution.
It had no central deity exclusive to it — instead, it recognized the Source as the origin of all life, known through:
The seasons
The land
The inner light of the soul
The divine inspiration was meant to empower direct experience of God through nature, rather than reliance on an intermediary priesthood.
3. God’s Intent for It
“The intention was never to form another tower of Babel, but to keep the bridge open between earth and heaven. The Druids were gardeners of that bridge.”
The Source valued in Druidry:
Reciprocity — Giving back to the land and the life-force.
Truth-speaking — Holding justice in word and deed.
Sanctuary — Protecting the sacred in all forms, human and nonhuman.
