Od-Powered Items are not typically available for purchase outside of special events and foreign locations. Check with a Referee if you are unsure if Od-Powered Items are available and which ones are.
Lantern (1 item Slot): Shutters allow the light to be hidden or focused. Burns one Od Charge every 10 hours (144 turns) and can hold 3 charges. Casts light in a 30’ radius. 100gp.
Od Battery (2 Item slots): A large cumbersome and heavy metal box with a valve for receiving and delivering Od charges. Can hold up to 15 charges. 50gp.
Odshooters: Essentially the firearms of Sidhranor powered with Od. Available as a two-handed version called a Jezzail, a one-handed pistol called a Janbia, or larger bombards.
AmBatt: An Ammunition Battery (or AmBatt for short) is a specialized Od Battery containing 20 “bullets” or Od charged canisters. The AmBatt requires only 1 Od charge to fill all 20 bullets.
Janbia: A single-handed gun with a barrel length less than 16”. Unlike most missile weapons, a pistol can be fired in melee.
Combat Jezzail: A two-handed gun with a curved flared stock and barrel length of 30–40” that is usually equipped with a Dirk (bayonet). developed for close-quarters combat in tight enclosed spaces found in ships, fortresses, or dungeons.
Long Jezzail: A two-handed gun with a curved flared stock and barrel length of 40–60” ideal for marksmanship at long range.
Odshooter: an AmBatt bullet canister is loaded into the chamber, the trigger pull opens the canister valve causing an contained explosion within the chamber, propelling the superheated canister out of the barrel into an unlucky target.
Bombard: Developed almost a century earlier, Bombard mechanisms require the less specialized Od Battery to fire a stone projectile. The strength of the attack is determined by the number of charges used.
AmBatt: An Ammunition Battery (or AmBatt for short) is a specialized Od Battery containing 20 “bullets” or Od charged canisters. The AmBatt requires only 1 Od charge to fill all 20 bullets.
Each time a bullet is fired, there is a 1-in-6 chance of the canister being recoverable.
Dirk: A Bayonet style attachment that usually lacks a handle. The Blades of Dirks vary in size and shape but are usually at least 12” long.
Only Jezzail weapons can have a dirk attached, giving it the CQC trait.
Od Battery: A large cumbersome and heavy metal box with a valve for receiving and delivering Od charges. Can hold up to 15 charges and can be used for Bombards.
Pavise: A large shield requiring two hands to wield. However it can be staked into the ground to provide cover for marksmen, granting +4 to their AC for as long as they are behind the Pavise.

CQC: May be used as a two handed melee (5’ or less) weapon.
Loud: The first time in an encounter a weapon with this quality is fired, the noise triggers a wandering monster check and causes animals (except those trained for battle) to make a morale check or flee. At the referee’s discretion, human-like creatures of 2 HD or less from cultures without firearms may also be affected.
Missile: Fired weapon (greater than 5’ distance). The distances for short (+1 to hit), medium, and long (–1 to hit) range are shown in parentheses.
