Pregenerated Characters

New Players or Players of a recently deceased character may wish to quickly and easily create a new character. As a result we have Seven pre-generated characters that are available as templates for your own character.

If you wish to play a pre-generated character simply follow the steps below. 

• Step 1 - Choose a Class: Choose from either Berserker, Banneret, Cleric, Fighter, Magic-User, or Thief  if you want to play a human, or Elf, Dwarf, Changeling, or Marshal if you want to play a Demi-human.

• Step 2 - Create a Copy of the Google Sheet: Create your copy of the google character sheet by selecting File on the google sheet and then selecting Make a Copy from the dropdown menu. 

• Step 3 - Complete Your sheet: All template characters are missing a few key things on their sheet: Character Name, Character alignment, Creation Date, and Player Name.  

  • Character Name: Name your character, consider taking inspiration from Irish or Gaelic names or using a name generator.  

  • Character Alignment: Choose between either Order (White), Ambition (Red), Survival (Yellow), Life (Green), Discovery (Blue), or Ruin (Black). This represents the color of the magic aura around your character and the motivation for what ultimately drives them. 

    • Reference the page Alignment in Sidhranor and choose one that fits your character.  

  • Creation Date: Mark the date you created the character. 

  • Player Name: input your use-name, it shouldn't be just your discord user name but it can be a nickname and/or your discord ID code.  

  • Personal Details (Optional): Feel free to fill out the Personal Details of your character. 

  • (OPTIONAL) Secondary Skills: Players can optionally roll a d100 to determine their character's secondary skill, reference Old School Essential's Advanced Player’s Tome (pg. 25). 

• Step 4 - Submit Your Sheet: submit your sheet in the Character Creation channel for review. When approved, post your sheet and any reference image you are using in the Player Characters channel.
