Lesson 7 Distributive Property Review

PEDAGOGICAL METHODS

• Teacher reviews homework and the distributive property.
• Online review on Khan Academy
• Differentiated Instruction: Students will work at their own pace on the online lesson. Students will be able to use their notes to assist them in solving problems.
• Student Collaboration in groups of 3 to 4.
• Teacher will ask clarifying questions to students about the online lesson.

COMMON CORE STATE STANDARDS

• 6.NS.B.4: Find the greatest common factor of two whole numbers less than or equal to 100 and the least common multiple of two whole numbers less than or equal to 12. Use the distributive property to express a sum of two whole numbers 1-100 with a common factor as a multiple of a sum of two whole numbers with no common factor.
