FULL TITLE OF THE GPPA: Assessment Visits to Select Department of Health (DOH) Hospitals Eligible for Designation as Orthopedic Care Specialty Centers
DESCRIPTION: Republic Act No. 11959 mandates national specialty centers (NSCs) to provide specialty training, technical assistance, and capacity building. Philippino Orthopedic Center as NSC shall assess the functionality status of eligible DOH hospitals, Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital and Sanitarium and Region 1 Medical Center, for possible designation as orthopedic care specialty centers vis-a-vis the resource stratified framework (Department Personnel Order No. 2026-8343, "Authority for Select Personnel of the Philippine Orthopedic Center and the Health Facility Development Bureau to Conduct Assessment Visits to Select Department of Health (DOH) Hospitals Eligible for Designation as Orthopedic Care Specialty Centers" dated May 20, 2026)
