HFDB GFPS Functions

Develop policies to mainstream GAD in the HFDB
Prepare the annual GAD Plan and Budget (GPB), and GAD Accomplishment Report (GAD-AR)
Ensure and monitor the implementation of GAD programs, activities and projects
Promote gender sensitivity in the HFDB
Incorporate gender lens in reviewing and providing technical inputs to documents subject for approval by the Secretary of Health
Provide technical assistance to DOH Central Office GFPS Steering Committee and Secretariat as may be directed by the Office of the Director
Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Director
