FULL TITLE OF THE GPPA: Mentoring and Monitoring of Geriatric Care Specialty Centers
DESCRIPTION: Republic Act No. 11959 mandates national specialty centers (NSCs) to provide specialty training, technical assistance, and capacity building. Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center as NSC for geriatric care shall identify gaps in infrastructure, human resources, equipment, clinical pathways, and referral systems, while providing technical guidance to address these gaps at designated specialty centers in Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital and Sanitarium and San Lazaro Hospital. (Reference: Department Personnel Order No. 2024-3342, "Authority for Select Personnel of the Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center and the Health Facility Development Bureau to Conduct Mentoring and Monitoring Visits at Designated Geriatric Care Specialty Centers on May 2026" dated May 19, 2026)
