FULL TITLE OF THE GPPA: Mentoring and Monitoring Visits and Assessment Visits for Additional Burn Care Specialty Designation in Department of Health Hospitals

DESCRIPTION: Republic Act No. 11959 mandates national specialty centers (NSCs) to provide specialty training, technical assistance, and capacity building. East Avenue Medical Center as NSC for burn care shall identify gaps in infrastructure, human resources, equipment, clinical pathways, and referral systems, while providing technical guidance to address these gaps at designated specialty centers. Assessment visits will ensure that eligible DOH hospitals meet the required standards prior to designation.
