FULL TITLE OF THE GPPA: Mentoring and Monitoring Visits and Assessment Visits for Additional Trauma Care Specialty Center Designation in Department of Health Hospitals
DESCRIPTION: Republic Act No. 11959, "Regional Specialty Centers Act," mandates National Specialty Centers to ensure the delivery of quality services, strengthen the specialty care network nationwide, and conduct capacity and capability assessments of Advanced and Basic Comprehensive Specialty Centers for the concerned specialty. The monitoring and mentoring visits aim to assess the functionality of the designated Trauma Care Specialty Centers based on the Resource Stratified Framework under Department Order No. 2021-0001, as amended; to review specialty care outcomes and identify trends and areas for improvement; and to provide feedback and support in developing action plans to address identified gaps. The assessment visits aim to evaluate DOH hospitals identified as eligible for designation as additional Trauma Care Specialty Centers.
