DESCRIPTION: Republic Act No. 11959, "Regional Specialty Centers Act," mandates National Specialty Centers to ensure the delivery of quality services, strengthen the specialty care network nationwide, and conduct capacity and capability assessments of Advanced and Basic Comprehensive Specialty Centers for the concerned specialty. The visit aims to assess the functionality of the CVMC Brain and Spine Specialty Center vis-a-vis the Resource-Stratified Framework for Brain and Spine Care Facilities under Department Order No. 2021-0001, as amended. (Reference: Department Personnel Order No. 2026-1448, "Authority for Selected Personnel of Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center to Conduct Mentoring and Monitoring Visit to the Brain and Spine Specialty Center of Cagayan Valley Medical Center on March 10-11, 2026 (inclusive of travel time)" dated March 5, 2026)
