FULL TITLE OF GPPA: Workshop on the Development of Standard Guidelines for Administering the Psychosocial Assessment Tools

DESCRIPTION: Aims to develop guidelines to facilitate compliance and increase in the appropriate and effective use of tools for the psychosocial assessment of children, adults, and the elderly as mandated in the Manual for Medical Social Workers, Sixth Edition, and Administrative Order No. 2021-0044. Psychosocial assessment entails a comprehensive evaluation of a patient’s physical, mental, and emotional health, their ability to function within a community, and their perception of themselves. It is a competency among clinical social worker in health and mental health, and it forms part of their contribution to the health care team.
