Our poster program:

We are always looking for ways to reach K-12 educators, and guide them towards the resources of our partner institutions.

Over the past few years, the DLG has developed a poster series featuring materials relevant to K-12 educators. 

These posters use resources found within the DLG website that illustrate elements of the Social Studies Georgia Standards of Excellence. 

Posters are downloadable here, and are released on a monthly basis through DLG’s social media channels and via our contacts at the Georgia Department of Education. 

In addition to the featured image, each framable poster will also feature the holding institution’s logo as well that of the DLG.

Our poster requirements:

• the image must be an item represented in the Digital Library of Georgia; 

• the Digital Library of Georgia must be granted permission to use the image OR the image is in the public domain;

• there are no fees assigned to using the image;

• the images corresponds with a topic in the Social Studies Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE); and

• there is a high-resolution image of the file available for submission (the image will need to be large enough to be placed on an 11" x 17" poster).

To nominate an image, fill out this form. Should your image be selected, DLG staff will get in touch with you about providing us with a high-resolution image and your logo. We will be accepting submissions on a rolling basis and will send monthly reminders about the program.
