Baniks are Humanoid Bipeds ranging from 1.6 to 1.9 meters in height and 50 to seventy kilograms in weight. their normal lifespan averages about 100 cycles. Their hair is almost always light in color, and is usually short on the males of the species. Skin is typically pale- only a few baniks have skin darker then the sebacean norm. A few baniks are Spiritual entities known as Stykari, they have a rift in their body through which their spiritual selves shine through, it appears as an ethereal glow. this "opening" is actually allows the Stykari to share thoughts with others. Calm a mind in pain or help a dying person to pass on peacefully.

Most Stykari Cover such openings for if they reveal it without the proper preparation they may accidentally discharge their spiritual energy, while this dispersal does not always kill the stykari, few have the willpower to recover from it. Stykari children are actually born in a non-corporeal realm by their parents energies, in this plane they develop basic skills and learn to control their form, with the help of other non materialized stykari the children materialize in a molecular vessel with their assistance, and they live out their lives in this vessel.

Stykari Life-force Transfer
If given sufficient time, a Stykari can transfer his lifeforce to the Stykari plane before being killed, if this process is successful he can reassemble himself within a few days to a week and seek out his allies and comrades again, during this process the Rifts will heal solid and he will loose all supernatural abilities until the Reintegration is complete, the rate of transfer is equal to constitution score, all current hitpoints need to be transferred and at-least some chakra as well (chakra cannot be transferred until after hitpoints have been completed, as long as the current hitpoint pool and 10% of their chakra pool is successfully transferred then they survive.
