The Saiyans were a group of barbaric aliens who arrived to the Planet Vegeta (once known as the Planet Tuffle) very long ago. Orignally from a palman prison world that experimented with genetic engineering on it's inmates; their home planet, Sadla, had been destroyed due to conflict between inmates and their CAST experimenters. The indigenous lifeforms to this planet were the Tuffles, a very technologically advanced race. When the Saiyans first arrived, they lived in the arid wastelands on the outskirts of the Tuffles' cities. The Tuffles had no way of knowing the Saiyans would eventually take the whole planet for themselves and destroy their race.
One day, a civil war broke out and the Saiyans tried many times to overthrow the Tuffles but were unsuccessful, although the Saiyans were bigger in size and much stronger, they were fewer in number compared to the Tuffles. What also gave the Tuffles an upper hand was that they had technology to read the chakra levels of the Saiyans and advanced weaponry to hold them off. Then one night, the Saiyans were able to transform into Oozaru thanks to the full moon and the resulting "Blutz Waves" that only came once every twenty years, with this new power, they finally annihilated the Tuffles and had the planet renamed to Planet Vegeta, after their great king who led their people to victory.
However, after their victory, the Saiyans had no way of expanding beyond their planet since they didn't have the knowledge to build spaceships. Their lust and hunger for conquest was put on hold until another advanced race made contact with Vegeta. The Arcosians, whom had money and technology, met the Saiyans and formed an alliance with the Saiyans to take over a planet for them and in return they would share their technology.
Over the years, the Saiyans also learned how to use the Tuffles' advanced equipment and become smarter and less barbaric, although they still lusted for fighting and destruction. At some time, following the Saiyan victory, the planet was conquered or annexed by Frieza's empire and the Saiyans (like many other races) were drafted to serve as soldiers in Frieza's military.
Because of the Saiyans' innate strength and penchant for violence, they were considered to be useful mercenaries and assisted in the conquering of many planets, or if assignment called for, eradication of the planet's population, as even Saiyan children were considered powerful enough to conquer some of the weaker planets, such as Earth. Eventually, seeing how quickly some of the more gifted Saiyan warriors were gaining power through battle, Frieza grew concerned with the potential of the Saiyan race and thought that they would grow strong enough to face him or even become the fabled Super Saiyans, able to defeat him in battle. So as betrayal, the maniacal and heartless alien warlord destroyed Planet Vegeta, almost eradicating the Saiyan race.

Saiyans arn't very agile, but have a greater amount of muscle mass compared to other races. they are also somewhat unwise due to being a created species.

+2 Racial Resistance to Fire, Earth, Water, Wind, and Lightning damage.

A Saiyan can survive in the frozen vacuum of space for approximately 40 to 60 minutes, usually losing consciousness in half that time
Zenkai (DM Triggered Only)
Saiyan's possess a genetic trait that allows their power to increase substantially after recovering from fatal or near fatal injuries.
Saiyan's who are killed in combat and resurrected during the battle or who are dropped into negative hitpoints and recover, gain a larger then normal amount of experience from that engagement.
Unchanging hair:
The hair of a pure-blooded Saiyan does not deviate from its appearance from the day the Saiyan is born, however a unintended genetic defect can rarely crop up that can cause some male saiyans to experience androgenic alopecia.
Powerful Build:
The physical stature of Saiyans lets them function in many ways as if they were one size category larger.Whenever a Saiyan is subject to a size modifier or special size modifier for an opposed check (such as during grapple checks, bull rush attempts, and trip attempts), they are treated as one size larger if doing so is advantageous to him.
A Saiyan is also considered to be one size larger when determining whether a creature’s special attacks based on size (such as improved grab or swallow whole) can affect him.
Low-Light Vision:
A Saiyan can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination. He retains the ability to distinguish color under these conditions.
Tail:
Saiyans have a prehensile tail which grants them +4 racial bonus on balance, climb and tumble checks, and has a maximum carrying capacity equal to the Saiyans base strength score -6. A Saiyan's tail can be removed by anyone with a slashing weapon making an attack roll against the tail. Saiyans may wear the tail around their waist for an additional +10 bonus to Defense against attack rolls made on their tails. Saiyans who loses their tail immediately loses their Tail skill bonuses, their Oozaru alternate form ability, and take a -8 on balance, climb, move silently, swim and tumble checks for 3d4 days. The penalty is reduced by 1 at the end of each day. Tails can be restored by regenerate, limited wish, wish or miracle spells.
Tail weakness:
Because of the sensitivity of a Saiyan's tail, if the tail is grabbed and squeezed hard enough it causes the Saiyan to become dazed. If an opponent has both hands free they may make an opposed grapple check (like a disarm check to take items). The Saiyan gains a +4 bonus for it being a secured item if someone tries to tear it from you. If the attacker is successful then he's entitled to make an immediate DC 18 strength check to attempt to daze the Saiyan. If the attacker is successful, the Saiyan makes an immediate fortitude save, DC 15 + 1/2 the Saiyans hit dice. If the Saiyan fails this check, he is rendered dazed. In the following round, if the attacker makes the DC 18 strength check again, than the Saiyan remains dazed and is not entitled to a new save or a turn. If the attacker fails the DC 18 strength check, then the Saiyan may to attempt an immediate opposed grapple check to be free of the tail restraint, but with no bonuses or penalties for either party.
Saiyan Oozaru (Ex):
Saiyans have an innate, were-ape like transformation which is triggers by the presence of a full moon. The saiyan goes into a rage, increasing in size by two steps, becomes covered in hair, and takes the form of an ape. He gains +4 Str, -4 Dex, +4 Con a -2 size penalty on attack rolls, and a -2 size penalty to Defense due to your increased size. He gains two primary slam attacks dealing 1d8 + Str damage, and a secondary bite attack for 1d8 + Str. Oozaru are capable of using one Oral elemental Energy blast for 1d8+3 damage in place of it's other attacks (1 per every round) This form lasts for 3 + their newly improved Constitution modifier rounds, and during this frenzy they are unable to tell friend from foe, or perform any tasks requiring thinking, similar to a barbarian's rage.
Saiyans Possessing Barbarian rage (say from tribal class) can emit Oral Elemental Energy blasts during rage.
