Image Description [Vignette style illustration with a green and pink color palette. The frame of the vignette that features watermelon stripes repeated in each corner with the text "Finley Baker 2025." Within the vignette, two people are sitting behind a table. There are various cut-up gloves that have been made into a condam and a dental dam, a cochlear implant, a pop-it, and scissors. A Persian trans masculine genderqueer person is standing behind the table, wearing a keffiyeh around faer neck, an aqua crop top, and pink tie-dye shorts. Fae have a black curly mullet and multiple silver facial piercings and rings. Fae have an access port and a surgical scar on faer abdomen. Fae are demonstrating the ASL sign for condom by sliding faer fingers in a circle shape down the index finger of faer other hand. There is a Palestinian trans woman sitting next to faer, wearing a pink hijab, denim battle vest, green long-sleeve shirt, and wrist brace on their right hand. She is demonstrating the ASL sign for dental dam by holding two fists up to her mouth. In the background, there is pink carpet and a "crip cart" with snacks, pills, headphones, utensils, and water bottle on the cart. On the wall, there is a poster that has the Palestinian flag and the phrase "Free Palestine," another blue poster, and three postcards tacked up.]
Image Description [Infographic with two sections and several images of gloves cut in different shapes. The heading reads "Condams" and the subtitle says "How to make a combination condom-dental dam out of a glove." There is a QR code with a link to this webpage and the caption "Scan for more." The first section has a pink background and has the text "Condam. Pocket created for mid-size anatomy (post-meta surgery, bottom growth, or some intersex traits) that has additional coverage of the crotch area." The first image shows a complete empty blue glove with the text "cut off all fingers" with an arrow pointing to an image of a glove with all the fingers, except the thumb, cut off. The second image has the text "cut down side of palm" and an arrow pointing to an image of a glove that has been cut to form a rectangle shape and unfolded, with the thumb sticking up. An arrow points to the thumb on the third image with the caption "erectile anatomy here." The second section has a light mint green background with the text "Dental dam. This method creates a large surgace area to cover the crotch area during oral sex. Can also use a cut-open condom or plastic wrap." The first image shows a complete empty blue glove with the text "cut off three fingers" and an arrow pointing to an image of a glove that has been cut so only the thumb and pinky finger remain. The second image has the caption "cut down the middle of the palm (one side" with an arrow pointing to an image of a glove that has been unfolded into a rectangle shape with two residual fingers hanging loose. There is a circle detail on the right side with the text "Use non-powdered gloves for both methods!"]
"Condams" are combination condom-dental dams that allow people with bottom growth to fully experience pleasure fully by putting their clitoris/phallus into the thumb of a glove, while the rest of the glove covers the vulva for oral sex.
Only use one side of the condam, and throw away after a single use.
Do not use powdered gloves, as the powder can be irritating for the genitals. If you only have access to powdered gloves, wear them to wash the powder off like you are washing your hands in the sink.
DIY dental dams can also be made out of a condom or a piece of plastic wrap. In practice, these may be difficult to hold, so Lorals underwear are a good alternative. They are still as stretchy, thin, and protective as a dental dam, but they stay in place - the downside is that they are only made of latex and they are very expensive per use ($6 per pair, not reusable).
