Yes! Sign up for bill pay at your personal bank. For example, provide our payee name ("Dingle School PTA"), our mailing address (625 Elm Street, Woodland, CA, 95695), and YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS as the "account" number, and then your bank will send a paper check to Dingle PTA on a recurring basis. During tax season we will try to email the total donated amount to that email address, but keep a record of your bank statements in case we do not have enough volunteers to send the tax statements. (We do not have online recurring donations via our Square store due to the cost of the feature.) Thank you!
Get approval from the PTA board (or from the principal / procedures for staff stipends) before making a purchase
Keep your receipts!
Complete the ONLINE reimbursement form (we're not using the old paper reimbursement form as of October 2024)
Either (a) email a copy of the form and receipts to treasurer.dinglepta@gmail.com or (b) drop the form and attached receipts off at the Dingle office (the Treasurer does weekly mail pickup)
If there are no further questions or approvals are needed, then expect a check within 2-4 weeks
Thank you! Easy tips:
Ask your buyers to pay directly to the PTA General Fund (https://dinglepta.square.site/) and forward the receipt to you.
Don't say "this is a Dingle PTA fundraiser"
Do say "the proceeds will go to Dingle PTA"
Contact us about something you have in mind and we'll find out! Here is what we have learned.
Cannot Fund:
play equipment; balls, jump ropes, hula hoops, etc. (Schools can only use "Site Discretionary" money from our district to use at our discretion, including for play equipment. The majority of the money pays for extra duty for classified staff and for teacher, staff, volunteer appreciation gifts from principal.) updated 3/15/2021
Effective in the 2024-2025 school year, we're making changes. We'll update this site when we have new information.
Guidelines as of November 29, 2022:
In all cases, a video must be approved by a chair, officer, committee, or the board working on behalf of Dingle Community PTA. The approvals required depend on the video content. The Dingle PTA board has authority to remove any content for any reason.
