The three jewels are the pillars of Buddhist belief and practice in Tibetan Buddhism. By taking refuge in the three jewels, Buddhists acknowledge their commitment to the Buddha's teachings and the path of awakening, then step into their own transformation with the power of awareness. In ancient Turkish beliefs, harpies, sphinxes and griffins are known as three fantastic figures that guide and protect the human soul on the right path, while apart of this group double dragon groups symbolize the integrity of the universe and re-existence. In this work made on local ceramic materials of Jingdezhen, I wanted to symbolize my new life in China and the path I followed.
