Dilan Atasayar is a ceramic artist and researcher specializing in the intersection of traditional and contemporary ceramic arts. She holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Traditional Turkish Arts from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (Turkey), with a focus on traditional Turkish tiles and ceramics. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Design at Jingdezhen Ceramic University (China), her research explores the historical and aesthetic interactions between Ottoman and Chinese ceramics historical relationships, aiming to bridge cultural narratives through ceramic art. 

Atasayar’s artistic practice integrates traditional underglaze decoration techniques from traditional Turkish ceramics with contemporary interpretations, combining her cultural heritage with influences from Jingdezhen’s porcelain artistry. She has exhibited internationally, published academic research, and actively contributed to cultural and artistic dialogues. Proficient in Turkish, Chinese, English, and German, she facilitates cross-cultural collaborations and interdisciplinary exchanges within the global ceramic community.
