There are many different 2D modelling softwares that you can use to create your digital design for Laser Cutting. Which one to use is completely up to you, whichever you feel most comfortable using.
As long as the software can export a vector file, you're free to use whatever works best for you! Our recommendation is to draw your file in advance of your laser cutting booking, so your time is better utilised in the laser cutting rooms.
Below are some examples of software students have used in the past/are currently using to design their 2D cutting file.
