There are many different 3D modelling softwares that you can use to create your digital 3D file for 3D printing. Which one to use is completely up to you, whichever you feel most comfortable using.
As long as the software can export .STL or .OBJ files, you're free to use whatever works best for you!

There are hundreds of STL files ready to download for 3D printing, however they are other people's designs, it's not a place to design your own parts to print.
