Connect2 Booking

Connect2 is our online booking site

You can book time on the laser cutters and our Ultimaker 3D printers in the workshops.

Before you can book or borrow the facilities via Connect2, you will have had to have an induction. After this you will be added to the system and will be able to log on using your student ID and password.

When you have arrived at the Connect2 site log in. It may not take you to exactly what you would like to book. If not, click 'Book by category' on the grey tabs, choose:

 'Sheaf and HPO facilities' for laser cutters and Ultimaker 3D printers.

It will give you choices of which machine you would like to book onto.  Click on the laser cutter you would like by clicking  'Add to basket'. 

Then click on the green 'Create booking' button. This will then prompt you to choose a time slot. Simply click on the diary style grid, then hit the green 'Next' button. 

You will then be asked to check your booking is at it should be, and press submit and you are done. 

If you cannot come in for your booked slot, it is vital you cancel your booking to ensure the space is available for someone else to use.
