Nicole Truitt has a B.A. in English and an M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership, as well as a graduate certificate in Instructional Design and Technology. She's been teaching at Delaware Technical Community College for fifteen years. She teaches full-time in the English department, but also sometimes teaches Psychology and ESL classes. She teaches in a variety of formats: fully online, hybrid, online synchronous, and fully in-person, and in a variety of settings: 7-week, 15-week, Workforce Development, kids' camps, and traditional college classes. In 2024, she was awarded the college's Excellence in Teaching award, in part due to her innovative use of technology within the classroom.
