Episode 6: Enhancing Student Learning with iPad
Angelina Squillace is a third year High school teacher working at St. Elizabeth High School in Wilmington, Delaware. Her work and technology is an integral part of her everyday life as she works 1:1 with Ipads. Angelina focuses on using 1:1 Ipads in her classroom to help students creativity with English Literature. Angelina has worked with Ipads throughout her education through High School and College. Her experience with technology has impacts her classroom in a big way. Her attention to differentiation with her lessons by incorporating technology enhances not only individual student learning, but student collaboration and creativity. As a teacher in a 1:1 Ipad school, her difference goes further than making creative lessons. She also differs within the subject matter teaching College Prep, Honors, and AP courses. Being a part of the 1:1 environment promotes both individual learning and equitable opportunity for all. Although she uses technology on a regular basis, she promotes the use of technology as a tool in the classroom without making it a dependency for her students' learning.
